How much longer are the effects of Cell Towers radiation going to be ignored

How can the World Health Organization (WHO ) say on one hand Cell Phones are possibly carcinogenic &  on the other  completely ignore Cell tower radiation?
Especially when we know  its the cumulative effects  that are particularly  dangerous ------ remember unlike cell phones , cell towers emit radiation 24x7 . Prof.Girish Kumar has been pondering this & other question relating  to cell tower radiation. Following   his campaign , the local Government  of Gurgaon shut down   298 cell towers in a residential  areas last January.
Want to know how he did it ? He bribed a few Officials ??  No. none of that . He just argued  a very good case. Actually he produced  an excellent report  on the dangers of cell Tower radiation.

- if you are living in the main beam of cell phone towers  you are exposed  to comparatively  high  radiation  levels , you need particular help.
- common health  complaints  of people  living  in this main beam are headaches, sleep disturbances, memory related  disorders, fatigue, buzzing in  the head,  joint pain, miscarriage, cancer etc.
- the Telecom industry likes  to play down  the WHO class 2B Carcinogen classification which also has pickles, coffee, etc. in the list.Radiation from cell phone  towers is 24x7, people living   in the near vicinity  absorb this radiation continuously.
- the Industry experts claim that " Non- thermal biological effects have not been shown to be a  health Hazard" is wearing  very thin. Non- thermal effects  are actually  several  times more harmful than thermal effects.

- the sensation of "hot ear" that many people feel when using  a cell phone can cause  ear tumors, the temperature  of the ear lobes increase by 1c when a cell phone is used  for 20 minutes or more , this  warm sensation can lead to tinnitus & irreversible  hearing  loss.This can in turn lead to an  ear tumor.
- doctors from  at least 3 hospitals have reported that  over use  of cell phones  can  cause a loss in hearing & also ear tumors  especially  in teenagers.
- the Blackberry smart phone manufacturers  recommends to keep the phone at least  0.98 in ( 25 mm ) from our body  when it's in use.
- nobody is saying  ban cell phone towers.We know  that  without antennas the network would not exist & people could not talk to each.  What we are saying is  why transmit  so much power ? In India , Telecom operators transmit  20w  of power per carrier & they  use a number of carriers. Also  antennas of multiple operators  are placed on the same roof or tower to cut down the cost, so cumulative transmitted  power is very high. The operator should  not transmit more than 1to 2w of power in the  densely populated area .

Towering Trouble Slow Killer living with cell phone tower is a back drop

Gave a press statement in Hindustan Times in last August '12 which I am repeating for our awareness that in Mumbai out of 3705  mobile phone towers  across the City that can jeopardize  your health & life , 1830  - that's roughly  half of them --- are illegal, says the Civic body .  but the Brihanmumbai  Municipal corporation ( BMC ), which discovered this fact , last June , when it conducted  a survey of mobile phone towers , has done nothing  for the past 13 months to remove the illegal ones. So far , Officials  have taken action against only 140 illegal tower. As reported in HT's July 15 edition, it's common for people living close to mobile towers to experience the recomends that radiation levels be  only 450 milli watts / sqm. the Current radiation levels permitted in India are 4,500 milliwatts . sqm as per  International commission on non-ionizing Radiation protection norms.
Adverse effects -According to experts  being expressed to a mobile tower located within 50 mtrs. is like being in a microwave  oven for 24 hrs. Though recently  on 1st. September'12 DOT has asked by Govt. notifications to Cell Operators  asking them to reduce power/radiation level  by 1/10th.  from existing  norms. This is nothing but show to public by Govt. , who is going to monitor ? Is TERM Cell of DOT have checked, who is authorized to do & organize nation wide checking ?
I am writing out of frustration that I live in Kolkata trying to locate the illegal cell towers , many towers are located , the cell operators defeated in appellate  court of Pollution Control Board ( W.B), the list of illegal cell operators  handed over to   Municipal commissioner, Mayor of kolkata, the Civic Body  is doing nothing to remove or demolish ! Though I find that Mumbai Civic Body is taking stern action by demolishing the towers , Hyderabad Civic Body , Rajasthan , Hariyana, Kerala etc . are taking actions  except our KOLKATA, a change has come in the name of Ma - Mati - Manus , but in reality  no change appears or not having any administrative  control or action against these  violators of Govt. guide lines . Kolkata Civic Body agrees that they have no idea how many Cell Towers  exists in Kolkata Residential Building Roof Tops, it is presumably more than 4000 cell towers exiting but Civic Body have no record though Govt. is losing lot of revenues.
Because we Indians live in fools paradise!

DoT has announced Acceptance of Recommendation made by the Inter-Ministrial Committee ( IMC )  were accepted by Government and directions in this regard were issued  to the Mobile operators  vide DoT letter no. 800-15/2010-VAS  (pt.) dated 10.04.2012 making the new norms applicable  from 01.09.2012, so that the Telecom Service Providers may adjust  their networks to comply with the new norms. How ever IMC recommended  for lowering the mobile towers' EMF exposure limits to 1/10th. of the existing  prescribed limit as a matter of abundance precaution & recommended the  following limits:

The new norms  for towers, which came into  on September 1.  have made the radiation limit more stringent  by reducing  it from 9.2 w/sq.m  to 0.92 w/sqm. a 10 fold  decrease .
There are around 4.5 lakhs  telecom towers in India. The DG of Cellular Operators Association India ( COAI ) opined  that due to lowering  the radiation limit, decrease in power supply to the towers which will bring down radiation levels. While this  solves the compliance problem, it means the coverage area  of each tower  goes down .
To achieve  the new norms   why Telecom companies  will manually  decrease the power supplied  to the towers ? Who will monitor ? Self Audit report by cell Operators will be another corruption ? Why TERM  Cell / DOT not  entrusted for   measuring & monitoring  through out the  country. Let us go back  to Land Line Phone   by developing its Technology for  better services. Let us "Quit Cell Phone " as we are not fit  to use this technology by our ill motive & earn money by corrupt means . In all State Govts. many guide lines are issued in the form of Office Orders by Principal  Secretaries of Deptt. of Environment. Out of 4.5 lakhs of Cell Towers in India more than 50% are illegally installed. The local bodies  such as municipal corporation, Gram Panchayats are not having exact no. of cell towers in their areas. These local bodies are loosing huge revenue due to a  racket of corruption exits inside these offices , the staffs of local bodies & Police stations just keeping quite even any body lodge complaints.
By new norms reducing power by 1/10th the  DOT has opened  another front to have more cell towers which will mushroomed over the Roof tops in residential areas.  Why  DoT  not asking the Cell operators  to install  highly mounted towers away from  residential areas like USA  & European countries where Towers are  not shamelessly displaying on roof tops except on sky scraper buildings ? Becoz. it is costlier on land  than erecting on roof tops. Our Govt. has no  bold  directive towards the cell operators due to fear of loosing  huge revenue & cut money , where  in Western world there is no so much chaos among public in Western countries for cell tower's effects of health hazards  from its  radiation & there is no much violation of Govt. Guide lines  , where in India the guide lines are framed to remain in papers , none to check  at random ,but  cell operators  work up to obtaining permission from SACFA  but a very few take legal permission from local bodies.
I have no confidence in this new norms of  lowering  the mobile towers' EMF exposure 1/10th of  the existing  prescribed limit. A hide & seek game will  start between TERM Cell  & Cell Operators !! 100% checking by TERM Cell to be evolved . A neutral independent body to be formed including representative from Residents Welfare Committee  to ensure Sanctity  of the IMC report.
What methodology has been done to know the EMF exposure is reduced in new norms , as I live very close within 30 feet distance to 2 nos. of Illegal Cell Towers , as TERM cell measured the radiation levels 3  months back , if I feel the change then I can  write in my blog that some thing different in my bed rooms.

Measuring Cell Tower Radiation by TERM / DoT on 13 th. june'12

I skipped writing BLOG  in June '12 due to my preoccupied schedule with Govt. Bodies relating to Cell Towers  Radiation from its Antennas / Masts. They measured the radiations to  4 houses within 20 meters distance from the cell towers. Tower Location in South Kolkata  32/12A, Gariahat Road ( south ) ,Kolkata - 700031, India. TERM stands for --Telecom Enforcement,Resource and Monitoring Cell 

I made  my petition to DoT Delhi - under RTI Act - 2005  to arrange  the followings :-

• Requested to measure the Radiation levels in my Residential building which is located very close to 2 nos. of  Cell Towers installed  illegally on the roof top of my immediate neighboring building 25 feet apart ,with the connivance of Landlord  & with  cell operators.It is gathered that the towers are used by more than two cell operators as antennas are many of many cell operators fixed.All its antennas are facing my bed rooms in first floor,  2nd floor  &  3rd floor respectively. After waiting more than one month  I reced. a call from TERM  / DoT , Govt. of India   that they are coming to measure my bed rooms radiation levels . They came on 13th. June '12 after 3pm carrying huge costly Radiation Measuring Instrument consisting of a team of 3 officials, before entering they visited neighbor houses by going to their roof top , inside bed rooms , found radiations exists every building , every rooms close to antennas.
• The whole team members entered my house & found radiations exists in every floor, rooms but  more in roof areas as the terrace roof close to 
• antennas.  I could take their  photographs with the instrument which you can see from top picture . 
• As per  ICNIRP   guidelines  and DOT  order the power density limit with lowest frequency in range as 800 MHz is 4.00 w/sq.m.
• There are  3 operators  Vodafone, Idea , Uninor .

 There  are 3 Tower  Company /  IP partner  - INDUS , VIOM , VIOM.

The Director / CPIO  TERM Cell / Kolkata in his letter  written that Measurements were taken  at four spots   near my premises & was done within the frequency range of 800 MHz to 2300 MHz. which covers all mobile technologies in use and around this site , viz., CDMA, WCDMA , GSM and 3G.

These  Cell towers  are installed in the above premises violating Govt. guide lines 

without structural stability certificate , without Municipal corporation permissions, the municipal  corporation  declared Illegal  & served notice to the landlord under section 401 KMC  demolishing act 1981.

I complained further to the West Bengal & Central Pollution Control Appellate Authority against the Cell operators who have defeated in the Appellate court recently after legal fight since last one year. The Appellate Court has issued ORDER & disposed two cases instructing  Municipal Commissioner for Demolition proceedings against the Towers soon  for gross violation and non payment of any fees.

levels  -- it is not what the Govt. says is  OK. that matters but  how the Human Body   reacts over time to the levels that it is exposed to. Prof. Girish kumar IIT/ Mumbai also said to me before  O got the report from TERM that wherever  Govt. TERM Cell  makes  measurement , they find it Ok & within the limit of ICNIRP guide lines and DOT order.  Who cares about the health  hazards !! The Govt. will not be alert  till there is CANCER Boom in the country, recently in electronic media & print media  lot of topics & news are published .

Personal Experience of Cell Tower Radiations

Feeling  of Radiations  from my Neighboring Antennas  of Cell Towers installed illegally on Roof Top By M/S Viom  Networks Pvt. Ltd & Indus Towers Ltd. very close to my  bedrooms just opposite  to my building of residence  going on emitting  radiations .


 Initially I was not knowing the level  of radiations  inside my bedrooms moving around 24 hrs. which I could know only after measuring  by an Instrument Cell phone Tower  radiation  DETECTOR , before measuring  levels of radiations I was using my bedroom since  more than  1 year. During this period  I  & my family developed  different symptoms like Headache, sleep disorder, loss of memory,Joints pain ,developed cataract in both eyes due to not knowing the situations prevailed in my bedroom. After measuring  the radiations by instrument we have relocated  our bed room since last nearly one and half month. Now we are feeling little different physically &  now we are not using our bed room except changing our garments , we try to spend very less time in our bed room. 
With this problem I met with Hon'ble Environment  minister of Govt. of west Bengal with  representation
letter  to save us from high level of radiation in my building / bed room &  by extending  Govt. financial help  to provide shielding in my windows  which was enclosed with quotations . The Chairman Mr. Dutta of WBPCB expressed that radiation matter does not fall under WBPCB which falls under Central Deptt.of Telecommunication,  who regulates the radiation  aspect  of cell towers , but I replied to him that the Health of public is the concern of State. So some one's family effected with radiation health hazards , State  Govt. will be only playing blame games ? If there will be soon Cancer boom in the state due to radiation , can state Govt.  remain quite ?
I am now scared  what to do in this situation , only  2 cell operators I find them only responsible  whom If  asked to audit the radiation their reply will be  "within the limit". The Central Govt.  not introducing the recommendations of radiations submitted by a expert committee in Jan. 2010 . The Govt. is awaiting for  Cancer Boom in the Country from huge radiation from 5lacs of cell tower in the country.
Now I am informing this situation  to the readers who ever reads this blog they can give their suggestions  if they have any to save us.

Tips no.4 --  Shielding your bed Room
If the problem is restricted  just to your bed room, then the easiest, the most effective  but  not necessarily the cheapest solution would be to use a EMF Faraday Canopy over your  bed. This is a basically an ultra fine metal wire mesh which works like a mosquito net but instead of keeping out the mosquitosit keeps out RF radiation. This kind of shielding can be very effective  up to 99%.
Tips no. 5 --   Shielding your Windows
Usually the place to start  shielding your room is the windows , reading from your EMF meter  will confirm this . Your windows  are the weak spot & usually provide the least protection from EMFs. The good news is this is really easy to correct using a special window film. You can buy scotch tint in a roll , cut it to size , peel off the backing , moisten it & stick it to your window.
Tips no. 6  --   Shielding Paint
 If you want to stop the cell tower radiation penetrating your bed room through an out side wall then the best solution is to use a shielding paint something like yshield . Yshield is a water based paint, free of toxic solvents, which I have found easy to apply. It can be used on walls , ceiling, doors. it adheres well to cement, plaster , polystyrene & most building materials. It can be used inside as well as out .
Tips no.7 --   Cheaper EMF Shielding
For Internal walls , which unlike external walls don't need to breathe, then an even cheaper solution is to use insulating aluminium foil , as in the building industry, you can stick this to the walls using wall paper paste & thus just paper over the top.

Cell Phone Tower protection Tips

What to do if a cell phone tower is erected next to your home ?
There is one big difference between cell phones & Cell towers . A cell phone you can choose  not to have one at all & if you do have one you can choose to switch it off whenever you want.
But if a cell phone tower pop up next to your home, this is a different story. remember electromagnetic fields ( EMFS ) can not be seen & can not be heard but they go  through pretty much everything & nearly anything.
First thing first , before you get overly concerned about the dangers of your nearest cell phone towers, you first need to put your own house in order. there is no point going to great lengths & great expense with all sorts of elaborate shielding if inside your home  you have not already minimized/eradicated all the radiation sources. t
Here are 7 Tips on how to protect your home from Cell Tower Radiation :-
1. Do you need to take action ?
The starting point is to establish whether you need to take action. Firstly  need to ascertain just how close the nearest cell phone tower is , if the nearest cell phone tower is  more than a half a mile away then you should be able to sleep easy. There are no hard  & fast rules on this, one study which comes to mind found that there were adverse health effects within 400 m. But this depends on the  radiation  output of the cell phone towers in question. as a rule of thumb if the cell phone tower is within 500m & you can see the antennas from your home then you need to investigate further.
2. Get some reliable EMF readings !
Investigating  further means obtaining reliable readings from an EMF Meter.If however you are perhaps within 400m or closer & you are already experienced symptoms then you would be best advised to purchase  an EMF Meter at the outset to measure the RF radiation. This will some you money in the long run.
3. Shielding your Home !
Once you have got  some readings then you have something to go on what you need to Shield. Shielding  your whole house is just not going to be feasible  & will in any case be fairly  point less. Instead you need to focus your  attention on the room where you spend most of your time & your bed room, If you spend most of your time in your kitchen then you would be  looking to shield your kitchen & shield your bed room, unless you line in such a big house that the bed room  has negligible readings.  I would not want to " line " or spend any considerable amount of time in an environment where RF levels are above 0.02 V/m.

Urgency for protection from Electro magnetic radiation

Our exposure to electro magnetic radiation (EMR) is increasing at an alarming rate. for example , in 2001, there were approximately 1 billion subscribers of cell phones in the world and in 2011, there are more than 5 billion subscribers.
Also, minutes per day of use of cell phones has increased globally due to lower price. Which implies increased radiation.To meet this increased communication demand , number of cell towers  have increased substantially to several millions. People living close to these  towers  absorb radiation 24x7. This is comparable to a microwave woven with 500 watts of output power. In which food gets  cooked in a few minutes. Radiation is transmitted through a directional antenna that yields  maximum radiation in the direction of the main beam. power density varies  according to the distance  from the tower. People living at a distance  of tens of meters to a few hundreds  of meters from these towers  have experienced several  health problems.
Such as , sleep disorder, headache, lack of  concentration, memory loss, joint pain, skin rashes, miss carriage and cancer. The radiation from cell towers also affects birds, animals  tress  and  environment.  One rarely sees birds near cell towers. As  their volume is  large  and weight is less  they feel heating effect faster  than humans . It has also been  observed  that the yield of fruit bearing tress , which are near  cell  towers  and in line  of the main beam, is going down  significantly.
Cell phone industry is becoming another  cigarette industry , which kept  claiming  that  smoking is not  harmful and now  there are millions  off people  around the world  who have suffered from smoking. In fact , cell phone/tower radiation is  worse than smoking, as one  can not see it  or smell it, and its effect on health is noted  after a long period   of exposure .

How do cellular Phone towers work ?

Microwave Radiation effects from Cell Towers in our densely populated neighborhood are classifieds  as - Thermal & Non Thermal .
Non thermal effects are several times  more harmfull than thermal effects.
For the ICNIRP guidelines , only thermal effects are regarded as established & used to set the limits. Non- Thermal biological effects have not been shown to be a health hazards.

Mobile  Subscribers almost 900  million with subscribers  base expected to reach 1,159 million by 2013.
 If this trend  persist the country will  loose population 2 crores  by 2020 due to health hazards of different  diseases due to dangerous radiation in  our  environment.

No Action Against unauthorized Radiation from Cell Towers in India

What I saw  in  Kolkata , Hyderabad, Jaipur , Mumbai in Recent times ???

Several Cell Towers in India are emitting high levels of  Radiation --!! there is none to measure  the Radiation  levels at Random ?

By the end of Dece. 2011, the number of Mobile phone users in India had reached to 80 crores according to Telephone Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI ). Accordingly the number of high frequency radiation spewing Mobile Cell Towers are being erected all over India indiscriminately in violation of specified rules & regulations by the mobile cos. in highly  Congested Residential localities on Residential Apartments & even on age old structures without caring for the dangers for not having structural stability certificate & health hazards being faced by Public.
In 2011 , I visited all the above cities witnessed the Cell Towers  are mushroomed
indiscriminately  in highly congested residential localities on residential apartments without having structural stability certificates, mostly are illegally installed with the connivance of  Landlords , municipal authorites & mobile companies without caring  for the dangers & health hazards  being faced  by Public.
For instance , in the heart of Hyderabad in & around the National Institute of Nutrition located at  Taranaka, Habsiguda , Nacharam, Moulali, Kapra, ECIL, Shivam, Chilakalguda, Seethaphalmandi, Vidyanagar, Shankarmutt,Amberpet & Gachhibowli  areas, the Municipal Authorities have given permission for erection of high frequency radiation spreading by Mobile Towers surrounded by huge Residential Towers .
Another instance in Kolkata -- after coming up New Ministry in West Bengal , the new  Environment Minister announced in last October 2011 in Legislative Assembly that all Illegal Mobile Towers in Kolkata , Howrah & other places will be removed . These  politicians  announce all these as stunt only for the sake of
announcement for cheap popularity among Public  to make news for print media & electronic media. The Environment Deptt. i.e, WBPCB has issued Removal orders   in last April 2011 based on mass complaints of residents & school authority for removal of 2 Illegal Mobile Towers of South Kolkata , it is regretted  that after lapse of more than 10 months , the 2  Cell towers not yet been removed by Municipal  Authority  , Police  & WBPCB. The Mobile Tower companies are still running their business with high Radiation without caring health hazards of  Public.
In these localities one can see two to three cell towers  on a single apartments that are erected without consent of local Residents, which is a mandatory before erecting a cell tower on any building. Even low -levels of radiations from these towers are causing memory impairments, neurological problems, miscarriage , heart problems &depression among the local residents especially for students & women.
Inspite of several representation by the residents in all these states to Hon'ble Ministers , Mayors  , Councillors , the municipal authorities  defend themselves by showing the Court stays against removal of such unauthorized towers. As a result of this public resentment  is growing against courts that are not showing any concern for public health instead postponing the action, by showing technicalities in the litigation filed by the cell tower managements.
This is all happening  because of  connivance of Municipal authorities with the cell tower managements , where bribe plays major role in erection of mobile  towers without heeding the public health & laws. Even the United Nations  statement show that any cell towers must be erected at least 300 mtrs. away from the Residential localities. But who  is there in India to care  about the public health ?

How do cellular Phone towers work ?

Cell Phone base stations may be free standing towers or mounted on existing structures , such as tress , water tanks, or tall building. the antennas need to be located high enough so they can adequately cover the area base stations usually range in height from 50 -- 200 feet.
Cell phones communicate with nearby cell towers mainly through radio frequency(RF) waves , a form of energy in the electromagnetic spectrum between FM radio waves & microwaves . Like FM radio waves , microwaves, visible light & heat , they are forms of non-ionizing radiation. This means they can not cause  cancer directly damaging DNA, RF waves are different from stronger types of radiation such as x-rays , gamma rays , & ultra violet (UV) light, which can break the chemical bonds in DNA.
At very high levels , RF waves can heat up body tissues when a persons makes a cell phone call a signal is sent from the phone's antenna to the nearest
base station antenna. The base station responds to this signal by assigning it an available radio frequency channel. RF waves transfer the voice information to the base station. The voice signals are then sent to a switching center , which transfers the call to its destination. Voice signals are then relayed back & forth during the call.

Cell Tower Radiation Norms in India

Several Health effects have been reported from cell towers radiation much below the radiation norms adopted by most countries. Common problems that occur among below living near & below cell tower are sleep disturbances , concentration problem,memory loss, heart palpitation etc.The radiation can also aggravate / lead to Alzheimer's & Parkin's disease.
Children are more prone to these radiation as their skulls are thinner & still developing. Studies by Dr.Om Gandhi show that radiation penetration in the head of an adult while using a mobile  phone is 25%, in a 10 yr. old it is 50% & in a 5 yr. old it is 75%. Also pregnant women & older people are more susceptible to radiation.
All these health effects have been observed at levels much below ICNIRP & FCC guide lines adopted by many countries.
Similar health effects have been observed in people in Germany,Israel, Sweden,Spain, UK, France etc. Also lots of cancer cases have been reported among people living within 300 to 400 meters distance from Tower.
In a country like India where population is very dense, achieving this is very difficult, hence it all the  more calls for lower radiation norms.
At the end some case studies have been reported. These are only a few examples.
The damage  which has already occurred to the human race including environment , plants , animals , birds ,bees  etc. is phenomenal. According to Australian Health Research Institute , if this trend continues , by 2020 - " 2 billion people will suffer from cell phone Cancer". Even if 1% comes true , it will be  devastating consequences  to so many of us !!
All this calls for immediate need to adopt strict & lower radiation norms.

What is the reason for this Blog

I created this blog site to help educate, people who, like myself, find themselves with a Cell Tower being proposed on a neighbor's property. It took me several months  to
educate myself in the various problems with cell towers & possible ways to fight them. There are many other sites on the internet that have been devoted to the same crusade. I am also providing a news forum to help in exchanging of ideas which will allow you to easily contact your Minister in charge ( environment), MPs, MLAs & Councillors. It is my belief that if enough people all group together & petition to change the laws , something will finally get done.

India has worst radiation Norms in the World

The  5.4 lakhs mobile phone towers in India  pose a huge  threat to the health of the Citizens. experts say that amount of radiation emitted from these towers in a day, is equivalent to putting one's body in a Micro oven for 19 minutes !
India has the worst cell phone tower radiation norms in the world. The upper limit
is so high that within coming 2 years the health of 1 crore Indian could be affected. A Recommendation of the Inter Ministerial report  on cell phone tower radiation was submitted by an  expert committee appointed by Ministry of Telecom  almost two years back but the recommendations have not yet been accepted by DoT ! If the recommendations are accepted soon there will be  stricter restriction on towers being installed near high density residential areas , schools & hospitals.
At present we follow the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation protection ( ICNIRP ) guidelines  for radiation, which will allow a radiation rate of 9.2 watts per sqm.meters to be emitted.The report recommends this level should
come down by one-tenth. At the same time the report clearly states that the safe limit for our health is 1000 times less than even the recommended limit.
Experts , like Prof. Girish Kumar, head of the Department of Electrical Engineering , I.I.T Bombay , who have been studying the harmful effects of radiation for three decades , are not very optimistic.
"The number of people having health problems is more in the areas where radiation levels are high. We have adopted the worst norm in the entire world"

What to do if you Live Near a Cell Phone Transmitter ?

Short of relocating, there are some things you can do to fight the effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMR ).the Safe Wireless Initiative of the Science and Public Policy Institute, outlines three levels of intervention in accordance with the public health paradigm that everyone can apply. Here are our suggestions based on these guidelines :-
The primary means of intervention is to minimize the effect of exposure. This includes the use of  bio-energetic devices that help reduce the effects of EMR, such as pendants, chips or other devices designed  to strengthen the bio-field
 of the individual. A bio-field is the matrix of weak electromagnetic signals that the body's cells use to communicate with each other. EMR disrupts  these signals, causing the cells to eventually shut down and result in build up  of toxins and waste products within the cells, including free radicals known to result in cellular dysfunction and interference with DNA repair.
The third  means of intervention is to help reverse damage caused by exposure.This includes nutritional support such as anti-oxident supplementation, particularly helpful in countering the effects of free radicals. Supplementing with anti -oxidents SOD. Microwave radiation has been shown to decrease  levels of these anti-oxidents that the body normally produces to protect itself.These levels  are sensitive indicators in stress, ageing,infection and various other disease states.

I want to translate the news published in Daily News of Jaipur.

Daily News published the following about Khatarnak Mobile Tower  stating that Jaipur City is full of mobile towers network mushroomed all over the city as a result the Electromagnetic Radiation is  creating health hazards  to common man living near the towers. Due to high emitting Radiations from Towers , the complaints are piled up & people are already suffering in diseases like brain hamarage & cancer informations are reced.in numbers. The information  are piled up in local Govt. bodies, the service provider companies are installing all illegal towers of low mounted nature irrespective of height in roof tops in residential , office , school buildings violating all Govt. guide lines & rules. These violations are happening in front of local Police station & municipal authority , it shows Jaipur City have no administrative control to stop such illegal activities by these service provider companies which is very severe concern for public health hazards , people are already attacked with brain tumor & cancer , this shows administration has indirect support ! These  violators have purchased the administration of the city.

This is the common sky line picture in all cities of India, the UPA Govt. having so many scams, this will become one day a big issue concerning health of  the people of India, if Govt. body does not accept the recommendations of the Expert Committee to reduce the radiation level at the earliest the same Report was  Submitted in Jany. 2010 by Prof. Girish Kumar IIT, Mumbai & others.
Inspite of complaining by local residents of Jaipur to the local authority - no action of demolition of towers
are being initiated to reduce the public grievance & anger .
